This modernised tech stack offered the scalability, performance, and flexibility needed to support both the farmer and community websites, while centralising content creation and streamlining management across teams.
The delivery process began with a series of collaborative workshops to align on strategy, structure, and audience needs. Dairy Australia and Switch partnered closely to bring a strong conceptual vision to life through a highly collaborative process. Together, the teams reviewed over 60,000 existing assets, ran a reverse brief, explored visual directions, and refined the site structure based on user journeys and personas. This process shaped a clearer content strategy, with templates tailored to different levels of the site architecture to simplify content planning and delivery.
Leveraging Recursion, Switch's accelerator, there were over 27 reusable components deployed, ensuring design consistency and accelerating development. Where needed, custom components were built including education-focused resource hubs, recipe layouts, and a "You Ask, We Answer" module. A unified components system ensured visual cohesion across both sites while still delivering tailored experiences as the farmer website prioritised utility and access to critical resources, while the community site focused on engagement and education.
Sitecore Content Hub streamlined content operations by consolidating assets and improving discoverability. For the community website, a mega navigation supported intuitive access to distinct sections such as the education page, while the farmer website featured a new interactive carousel for better promotion of high-value messaging.
