About the Role

We need a senior front end developer to work with us on a range of new and existing projects. You must have a minimum of 3 years experience designing and building mobile-first solutions as you will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation as a company which focuses on delivering excellent customer service and award-winning solutions.

You will collaborate with our Project Managers, Designers and Developers to develop scalable solutions from concept through to production in our office just a short walk from Wynyard station.

This role provides a great deal of creative freedom and is supported by our existing design & development team who are super talented at what they do.

Working in a dynamic business you will have the chance to have input on the full SDLC. From visual design, UI and interaction design to performance, analytics and SEO. Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
  • Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS/SCSS
  • Strong proficiency with Javascript
  • Experience with version control sytsems (namely Git)
  • A good understanding of the tradeoffs between speed, design, flexibility and the underlying page architecture
  • Good personal time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment & has the flexibility to accommodate demanding deadlines when required
  • Javascript Task-Runners (namely Gulp)
  • Visual Studio Code (our editor of choice)

Nice To Haves

Not absolutely essential to the position, but it would be great if you had knowledge or exposure to:

  • SEO and Web Analytics
  • Sitecore and Umbraco CMS’s
  • University Degree or TAFE level equivalent is desirable
