Client Introduction

Tourism New South Wales (TNSW) is responsible for the marketing of New South Wales as a holiday destination within Australia and overseas. The organisation also provides strategic direction and leadership to the New South Wales tourism industry to ensure a wide range of tourism products and holiday experiences are available in the marketplace.

Project Overview

Following the positive feedback received after a range of Switch I.T. developed web banners, TNSW turned to Switch I.T. to maintain various components of their existing web site, as well as develop a number of micro sites promoting different features of the state.

In each instance, Switch I.T. was supplied with a small brief, key images, and given no more than three days to design, code and optimise each micro site for integration into the TNSW Content Management System.

Working under the tight technical limitations of the Content Management System requirements, Switch I.T. develope each micro site on time and on budget. As quoted by TNSW web site producer Lisa Moroney, feedback on the micro sites "has been very positive". This has been further evidenced by the fact that TNSW have already approached Switch I.T. to develop a number of new micro sites, as well as a range of other small projects across the visitnsw.com.au web site.
