Client Introduction

Max Training was founded in 2002 by a group of World Class athletes that utilised their knowledge and experience to see greater improvements in their own sporting performances. The team provides Training Camps, Clinics and Consulting Services as well as a revolutionary online training system to work with athletes from all over the globe.

Project Overview

Max Training approached Switch I.T. to develop a ground-up strategy for the development of their online presence. The web site was not only required to effectively promote their services online, but the Online Services (currently under development) actually formed a core part of the business.

Following a detailed analysis of the requirements of the web site, Switch I.T. developed a three phase plan for the implementation of the web site:

• Phase 1 - Promotional Web Site and Content Management System. Released August 20, 2002
  
  
• Phase 2 - Online Store and Training Discussion Forum. Due October 2002
  
  
• Phase 3 - Online Training System. Due December 2002
  

The Phase 1 version of the web site, now available to the public, features detailed information on Max Training's "Downunder Training Camps", their clinics and consulting services, and a preview of the under development Online Training facilities.

The site also features details on all Max Training expert team members, a constantly updated news area that follows the career highlights of the team, as well as company related announcements.

In order to give Max Training complete control over the content on the web site, the entire system was built under Switch I.T.'s SwitchBack Content Management System. This system allows Max Training staff to add team members, news announcements, and control the content on every page of the web site in an easy to use WYSIWYG environment.
