Client Introduction
 To coincide with the launch of their revolutionary SpeedMinder product, ku Electronics approached Switch I.T. to develop a brand new web presence. SpeedMinder is a 100% Australian designed and manufactured product which provides drivers with advanced warning when approaching blackspot and speed sensitive areas.
Project Overview
ku Electronics required a web site that would not only showcase the SpeedMinder product itself, but offer many value added services that compliment the product, such as:
- Firmware Downloads
Users can keep their product up to date by downloading various firmare patches and other diagnostic software.
- Online Unit Registration
Customers can register their purchased unit online to ensure they will receive notification of product upgrades and enhancements.
- Theft Reporting
Customers can report a stolen unit, enabling the ku Electronics team to track down the stolen unit using GPS technology.
The site also features Switch I.T.'s cost effective e-commerce solution that securely transfers encrypted credit card details to ku Electronics staff. Using custom decryption software developed by Switch I.T., ku Electronics can unscramble the payment details and manually process the payment using their existing EFTPOS terminal.
